Wednesday marked our last day at the school. We wrapped up our time in the classrooms with student presentations, showing off the English that they learned.
Each class, led by Putney teachers, presented something to the entire school. Some students sang songs while others had conversations in English. The faculty and staff and we, the Putney leaders, were impressed by what the Putney group had accomplished both in the classroom and in the playground!
Arianna and Isabella put the finishing touches to the chabutra, signing the Putney name. The local students were already playing around the new shaded area, swinging from the banyan tree roots.
It was a special day to remember.
