Rajasthani Dancing

The following post features student writing.

Ram Ram!

Today marked our tenth day in India. We made great progress on the construction project and saw considerable improvements in our time teaching in the classroom. We continued with our embroidery and tailoring projects in the afternoon and practiced our Hindi with our teachers and new friends.

This evening, local dancers and musicians visited the haveli and taught us some traditional Rajasthani dances along with a few fun Bollywood numbers. Children from the village joined in, and we all enjoyed a fun end to the day.

We’re looking forward to continuing our projects as well as visiting a temple tomorrow!
